you may or may not know but yg entertaiment debuted a new boy group on august 7th, 2020, with their title track BOY!! boy is the title track for their debut single album The First Step: Chapter One, part of a three chapter series all to release by the end of 2020. currently treasure has come out with their second single album The First Step: Chapter Two with the title track I LOVE YOU (above), released just 6 weeks after their debut on september 18th, 2020.

treasure, formerly know as treasure13, is a 12 member group (previously 13 hence the old name), to read more on their background as treasure13 click here. all members are from yg's survival show, yg treasure box, which is all on youtube! through the survival show the group was given a predebut track called Going Crazy (be sure to check out all the versions they put out they're very cute!)

so here's the rundown on treasure13.
when the final lineup was announced the group was originally supposed to be called treasure with just 7 members consisting of: hyunsuk, yedam, junkyu, jeongwoo, junghwan, haruto, and jaehyuk. that didn't last very long when fans wanted other trainees to debut and promises were broken as well. yg then released a second line up, called magnum, consisting of: mashiho, jihoon, doyoung, yoshinori, asahi, and yoonbin. treasure and magnum would both be units under one team, treasure13. the group was set to debut back in 2019, but with all of yg's scandals it was pushed back. that's all you really need to know about treasure13.
